🟡 What you see in the mirror is way less important than who you see looking back.
Focusing on what you see in the mirror keeps you stuck defining your self-worth externally as the sum of your body parts.
Focusing on who you see in the mirror shifts your self-worth
internally and allows you to see yourself as a whole human
being.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Obsessing over our “flaws” keeps us living a small life -
constantly hiding who we are, and feeling like we have less value
to offer the world simply because something on our body doesn’t fit
into a societal norm.
It’s not easy to detach all the negative meaning we’ve
associated with our body parts, but it’s possible if you work
through the struggle the right way.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In episode 81 of Fitness & Sushi, Deanna and
Tony are going to help you start seeing yourself as the perfect
person you are so that you stop focusing on your flaws and begin to
step into an identity of someone who has amazing confidence and
self-worth.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this episode - “How to Stop Being Triggered By Your
So-Called Flaws”, you'll learn...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔶 The difference between how we see our imperfections vs how others
