Fitness & Sushi

🟡 There’s more to permission-based eating than just saying yes to all the foods you want to eat.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I see it all the time. People give themselves permission to eat foods they’ve placed off limits, so they go to the store and buy the food, but then they end up eating way more of it than they wanted.

So they quickly write off the idea of practicing moderation and go back to placing these foods on their “trigger foods” list.

Here’s the thing - permission is a feeling, not an action.

You can say yes to buying any food you want. You can tell yourself you have permission to eat it any time you want. But if you don’t actually feel and believe that’s true, all you’re doing is fueling distrust and scarcity, and loading the spring of overeating.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In episode 82 of Fitness & Sushi, Deanna and Tony are going to show you what’s missing from your permission-based eating lifestyle so you can start being around the foods you love without feeling out of control around them.
